Troubleshooting
Sign-in shows one message, "Incorrect email or password", for every failure. It never says whether an address is registered, because that would let anyone test email addresses against us. So the same message covers all of the causes below.
Your account has no password
If you registered by pressing Sign in with Google, no password was ever created. Nothing typed in the password box can work and there is nothing to reset. Press the same Google button, using the same Google account.
A Gmail address is not the same thing as Google sign-in. If you typed your @gmail.com address into the form and chose your own password, you have a password like everyone else.
The password is wrong
If you chose a password when you registered, request a new one from Forgot password. The link arrives by email and can be used once.
The account no longer exists
Accounts you deleted yourself, trial or demo accounts that expired, and team seats an administrator removed are no longer able to sign in. Their old credentials stop working, and a password reset will not bring them back, because there is nothing left to reset. Register again with the same address, or ask your team administrator for a new invitation.
Too many attempts
Five failed attempts within thirty minutes lock sign-in from your connection for thirty minutes. More attempts during that window only restart the clock, so reset the password instead and wait it out.
You are inside another app's browser
Google refuses to complete sign-in inside the built-in browser of apps such as LinkedIn, Facebook or Instagram. Open the menu and choose Open in browser, or type iso26262.academy into Safari or Chrome, then sign in there.
Still stuck
Write to [email protected] or use the contact form, and tell us the address you are trying and whether you used the Google button when you signed up.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is ISO 26262?
ISO 26262 is an international standard for functional safety of electrical and electronic systems in production automobiles.
Who should take these courses?
Engineers, managers, and professionals involved in automotive system development, including hardware, software, and system engineers.
How long do I have access to the content?
You have unlimited access to all content for the duration of your subscription.
Can I use one subscription for my whole team or company?
No. Individual plans and the prices shown are for one person's personal use, and accounts can't be shared across a team or company. If you need access for more than one person, our Teams plans provide team seats, volume pricing, and centralized administration. Visit our Teams page or contact us to set one up.
What currency will I be billed in?
Plan prices are quoted in US dollars unless we show you a local currency. Depending on where you are, Stripe may display and charge the equivalent amount in your local currency at checkout, and the payment page always states the exact amount and currency before you confirm. If you already have a subscription, your billing account keeps its original currency, so renewals and plan changes stay in that currency. Contact support if you need it changed.
Can I download course materials?
Currently, all materials are available online only. We're working on downloadable resources for future updates.
What is ASIL?
ASIL (Automotive Safety Integrity Level) is a risk classification scheme defined by ISO 26262, ranging from ASIL A (lowest) to ASIL D (highest).
What is the difference between FuSa and FuSi?
FuSa refers to Functional Safety, while FuSi refers to Functional Security. Our platform focuses on Functional Safety (FuSa).
What is SEooC?
Safety Element out of Context (SEooC) is development of a safety-related element before its integration into a specific vehicle system.
