Can I start using ISO 26262 Academy for free?
Yes! Our Free plan gives you access to basic ISO 26262 features and community access with no credit card required. You can upgrade to Pro or Expert at any time to unlock more features.
What is the difference between Pro and Expert plans?
The Pro plan is built for individual practitioners: 14 released concepts, 75 downloadable work product templates, the FTA and Markov simulators, and 5 random, 5 adaptive, and 5 thematic exams per month. The Expert plan unlocks everything: all detailed concepts, all work product templates and process descriptions, all 9 simulators (FMEA, FTA, FMEDA, Markov, STPA, DFA, Cascading Failures, HAZOP, GSN Safety Case), unlimited exams of all types, and priority support with 24h response time. Can I share a plan with my team or use it for my company?
No. Each paid plan and the prices shown are for one person's individual use, and accounts can't be shared across a team or company. If you need access for more than one person, our Teams plans offer team seats, volume discounts, and centralized billing and administration. Visit our Teams page or contact us to set one up.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes, monthly and yearly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time with no cancellation fees. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period, and you won't be charged again. You can also switch between plans or billing cycles at any time. The Expert 3-year plan is a single payment rather than a subscription, so there is nothing to cancel: it does not renew and simply ends after 36 months. It is non-refundable except where a statutory right of withdrawal applies, such as the 14-day right EU and EEA consumers have under section 8 of our Terms.
How does the Expert 3-year plan work?
You pay once and get 36 calendar months of Expert access, counted from the moment your payment is confirmed. It does not renew automatically and nothing is charged again; when the 36 months are over you can choose a new plan or return to Free. The price is shown on the 3 years tab above. The 3-year plan is non-refundable except where a statutory right of withdrawal applies; see section 8 of our Terms.
Do you offer annual billing discounts?
Yes! Save up to 30% with annual billing compared to monthly payments. Annual plans are billed once per year and include all the same features as monthly plans at a discounted rate.
What payment methods can I use?
Payments are handled by Stripe, so you can always pay by card, and Apple Pay and Google Pay work on supported devices. Depending on your country and the currency of your purchase, Stripe may also offer PayPal, iDEAL, Klarna, Link, Amazon Pay, Revolut Pay or Satispay. The checkout page shows the methods available to you and is the authoritative list, because Stripe decides which ones to present based on your location, your currency and the amount.
What currency will I be charged in?
Plan prices are quoted in US dollars unless we show you a local currency. Depending on where you are, Stripe may display and charge the equivalent amount in your local currency at checkout. The payment page always states the exact amount and currency before you confirm, and that is what you pay. If you already have a subscription, your billing account keeps the currency it started in, so renewals and plan changes stay in that currency. Contact support if you need it changed.
