What “for life” means

When we say lifetime, we mean the working life of the platform rather than an unlimited stretch of time. Your access stays active for as long as ISO 26262 Academy is running and the company behind it keeps operating the service. We are building this for the long term and plan to keep developing it for years to come, though access does depend on the service continuing to exist. If we ever had to wind the platform down, we would give you as much notice as we reasonably can.

A lifetime plan is a single payment rather than a subscription, so there is nothing to renew and nothing to cancel. Because it is a one-time purchase and not a recurring plan, it is final and cannot be refunded. It gives one person a personal right of access that stays with that account, so it is not transferable and cannot be shared across a team or a company. If you need access for several people, our Teams plans are built for exactly that.

Lifetime access covers the Expert plan features and the content on this platform. Separately priced services such as expert consultations are not included, and neither are Teams or Enterprise features. You can buy the plan until September 2026. As with any purchase here, it is governed by our Terms of Service.
