Train your whole safety team on one annual contract.

Every seat carries the full Expert plan, all content, simulators and exams, with team admin, assigned exams and analytics on top. Set your team size to see the rate.

Seats belong to the company and are reassignable at any time at no cost: when an engineer moves on, the seat goes to the next hire.

Seat calculator

Per seat rates for every team size are in the price table below.

seats

Seat rates are net, VAT excluded, on a one year minimum term billed annually. Individual plans are compared at their final monthly price.

Assign. Track. Prove.

What a team seat adds to the Expert plan, for the person who runs training.

Assign

Assign an exam once, with a due date, to one engineer or the whole organization. Automated reminders and recurring yearly refreshers run on their own.

  • Assigned exams with due dates, plus personal self paced learning
  • Role based curricula and tracked assigned coursework

Track

Team dashboard visibility for admins: who has passed, who is in progress and who has not started, with team and question level analytics.

  • Scheduled manager reports on progress, gaps and overdue work
  • Audit logged administration

Prove

Every exam attempt is a recorded result. Each member keeps a training record with certificates, and the competence matrix exports as competence evidence per engineer.

  • Seat reassignment: swap an engineer out, the seat keeps working
  • Archived members can be reactivated at any time, with their progress, scores and evidence intact

What the admin sees

The real team workspace, screen by screen and at its true proportions: who is behind, what is assigned, where the competence gaps are, and the records you hand to an assessor.

Team dashboard

One window on the whole team: completed attempts, participants, average score and pass rate for the period you pick, a score per engineer, and a member table that shows at a glance who has not attempted anything yet.

You can

  • Switch the window between 30 days, 3 months, a year or your own dates
  • Spot the engineers below the pass mark before an audit does
  • Open any member to see their full training record

Workspace at a glance

Further down the same dashboard, one card per area of the workspace: safety case progress and overdue items, curriculum completion, Expert Desk hours, competence gaps against your role requirements, and onboarding plans.

You can

  • See overdue safety case items across every project
  • Track how far each assigned curriculum has got
  • Watch the consultancy hours left in your plan

Statistics

Engagement over a 7, 30 or 90 day window: daily reading and video time for the team, learning time per member, and average score next to pass rate for every engineer. Only learning on content you assigned counts, so it is time spent on your programme, not on private study.

You can

  • See which days and weeks the team actually learns
  • Compare reading and video time member by member
  • Sort the member detail table by any column

Invite, groups and scope

Bring people in by email or a CSV import, in any of five roles. Tag them with the projects, departments and business units you already work in, so every report and the competence matrix can be sliced the same way, and limit an administrator to the groups they actually run.

You can

  • Invite one engineer or import the whole team from a CSV
  • Group people by project, department or business unit
  • Restrict an admin to named groups and pair mentors with mentees

Roster and roles

Every person in one roster: their org role (Owner, Admin, Billing admin, Member or Viewer), the professional role the competence matrix measures them against, their groups and their status. Archiving a leaver frees the seat for the next engineer and keeps their record.

You can

  • Change a role or professional role straight from the table
  • Let an admin also manage billing with one tick
  • Archive a leaver and reuse the seat, record intact

Assign an exam

Assign a qualification exam to the whole organization or to one engineer, with a due date and the email reminders you choose. The policy can only tighten the platform rules: raise the pass mark, cap attempts per cycle, set a retake cool-down and repeat the exam every N months for yearly refreshers.

You can

  • Assign to everyone or one engineer, with a due date
  • Raise the pass mark and cap attempts per cycle
  • Repeat the exam every 12 months without lifting a finger

Assignments and exam library

Every assignment in one list with its policy, target, status, due date and reminders, and the evidence behind it one click away. Below sit the exams your organization built from the released question bank and the ready-made templates your plan includes.

You can

  • See attempts and best score per assignment at a glance
  • Open the evidence record or revoke an assignment
  • Assign your own exams or platform templates

Exam builder

Build an exam that is yours alone from the released question bank, in three steps: settings, questions, review. You set the duration, attempt limit and pass mark; the answer keys stay hidden from everyone in your organization, admins included.

You can

  • Write your own title, description and candidate instructions
  • Pick questions by part, topic and difficulty
  • Randomize the order so no two sittings look alike

Curricula

Role-based learning paths: ordered concept reads, simulators and exams with a time estimate per step. Start from a platform template, clone it into your organization and edit it, then assign it to one engineer, a professional role, a project team or everyone.

You can

  • Clone a platform path and make it your own
  • Assign a path to a project team in one step
  • Follow progress per assignment, with a due date

Placement

A day-one diagnostic for every new engineer. One placement exam maps their score per competency area, marks each area strong, developing or a gap, and proposes exactly the learning that closes the gaps. You confirm the proposal or dismiss it.

You can

  • Send a new hire the placement exam on day one
  • See their gaps per area before they start on a project
  • Confirm the proposed learning, skip what they already know

Coursework

Single pieces of assigned reading: a concept page or a work-product template, for one engineer, a project team or the whole organization, each with a due date and a progress bar that fills as they actually read.

You can

  • Assign one concept or template with a due date
  • Send reading to everyone on a project at once
  • See who has read it and who has not started

Competence matrix

Every engineer against every ISO 26262 competency area, each cell backed by exam results and certificates with a validity date. Strong, developing, gap or no signal at a glance, with an orange ring where evidence is about to expire, and the whole matrix exports as competence evidence for an assessor.

You can

  • Filter by member, professional role or ASIL-relevant areas
  • Spot expiring evidence before it lapses
  • Open any cell to see the evidence behind it

Competence gaps

For every professional role, the competence you require and, per engineer, exactly where they fall short: the area, the level you asked for and the level their evidence shows today. The answer to "who is not qualified for this role yet, and in what" is one page, not a spreadsheet.

You can

  • Set the required level per role and area once
  • See every shortfall per engineer, required against actual
  • Slice the analysis by member or project group

Engineer competence profile

One engineer, every competency area: the status, the evidence behind it and how long that evidence stays valid. Exam results and certificates are linked as proof, and evidence that expires within six months is flagged, so a renewal is planned instead of discovered.

You can

  • See the proof behind every rating for one engineer
  • Catch evidence that is about to expire
  • Open their AI evaluation or full training record

Competence taxonomy

The rules behind the matrix are yours to set. Keep the platform's seven professional roles and seven ISO 26262 competency areas or add your own, decide the level each role requires per area, the scores that count as Developing or Strong, and how long evidence stays valid.

You can

  • Add the job titles your organization actually uses
  • Set the required level per role and area
  • Tune the score thresholds and evidence validity

Safety case projects

One card per vehicle project: the share of its work products that is complete, how many items it tracks and how many have slipped past their target date. Finished programmes are archived read-only, so the record stays and the list stays short.

You can

  • Open a project to its tracker, argument, snapshots and report
  • See slipped work products on every project at a glance
  • Archive a finished programme and restore it when it comes back

Safety case tracker

The work products of one project as a tree of lifecycle sections, each with its status, completeness, owner, target date and review sign-off. Drag templates in from the library of 234 work-product templates, or from the ISO catalog, and the row links straight to the deliverable.

You can

  • Filter by status, owner, overdue or awaiting review
  • Drag work products in from the template library
  • Export the tracker or manage who may view and edit it

Review sign-off

Every work product opens into one panel: status, completeness, owner, target date, notes, the linked template and the review decision with its date and note. A decision on an item that changed afterwards is flagged as out of date, so an approval always refers to what was actually reviewed.

You can

  • Approve or request changes with a note for the author
  • Rely on the independence check: no one signs off their own work
  • Link the template behind each deliverable and open it in one click

GSN safety argument

The safety argument drawn in Goal Structuring Notation next to the tracker it argues over: goals, strategies, solutions, context, assumptions and justifications. A solution linked to a tracked work product takes its status from that evidence, so the argument turns green only as the deliverables are actually completed.

You can

  • Link each solution to the work product that is its evidence
  • Check the argument for undeveloped goals and loose ends
  • Download the diagram as SVG or PNG for the safety case report

Safety case report

A printable report of the whole safety case: the GSN argument as a diagram, then every work product by lifecycle section with its status, ISO 26262 clause, owner, due date, notes and the link into your own tools. It is generated from the live tracker, so it is never out of date when the assessor asks for it.

You can

  • Print it or export it for an assessment or a gate review
  • Download the argument as SVG or PNG
  • Hand over one document instead of a folder of spreadsheets

Branded work-product templates

The catalog of 234 ISO 26262 work-product templates, filterable by part, phase and tag, each exported as PDF, Word, Excel, JSON or XML with your legal name, logo, contact line and footer note stamped on it. Pin a version and every later export reproduces exactly that baseline.

You can

  • Export one template or a bundle of up to 40 as a ZIP
  • Stamp your company identity on every exported document
  • Pin a template version so audits always see the same baseline

Your own template copies

Editable copies of any catalog template that belong to your organization: rename them, rewrite the chapters for your process, file them under a project and export them with your branding. Duplicate a copy for the next project instead of starting again.

You can

  • Turn a catalog template into your own controlled version
  • File each copy under the project it belongs to
  • Duplicate a finished copy as the start of the next project

Workshop packs and checklists

Ready-to-run facilitator packs for HARA, FMEA and technical safety concept workshops, plus confirmation review and assessment checklists, every PDF stamped with your organization name. Copy any academy pack and rewrite it for your own process, build one from scratch, or upload the checklist you already use.

You can

  • Run a two-day HARA or FMEA workshop from a finished pack
  • Copy an academy pack and adapt it to your process
  • Keep your own checklists next to the academy catalog

Onboarding plans

Every new hire gets a plan built from your onboarding template: milestones as day offsets from the start date, so the dates follow the person. Milestones tick off from real activity, a curriculum completed or an exam passed, and a slipped milestone is flagged before the probation review.

You can

  • Start a plan for a new hire from a reusable template
  • See at a glance whose onboarding is slipping
  • Reuse one template for every hire in the same role

Onboarding plan and probation report

One new hire's plan as a timeline: curriculum, exam and checkpoint milestones with their due dates, completed automatically from the platform or signed off by the manager. At the end of probation the whole plan exports as a PDF or CSV report for HR.

You can

  • Sign off a mentor checkpoint the day it happens
  • Override a milestone when the evidence lives elsewhere
  • Export the probation report as PDF or CSV

Expert Desk

Your engineers ask ISO 26262 questions in the workspace. A question can go to your own internal experts first and escalates to the academy desk when your review window runs out, drawing on the monthly hour pool in your plan. Answers shared with the team build a searchable library of decisions.

You can

  • Route questions to your own experts before the academy
  • Set how long the internal review may take
  • Build a shared library of answered questions

Manager reports

Completion per curriculum and per engineer, overdue assignments and last activity in one report, with every engineer's training record a click away as a PDF or CSV. A scheduled training report pack can go out by email to owners and admins every month or quarter.

You can

  • Export the competence register as CSV or PDF
  • Download any engineer's training record for an audit
  • Open exam integrity and question analytics from the header

Exam integrity

Every completed exam attempt with advisory signals from timing and browser telemetry: answers faster than reading time, a very fast overall pace, frequent tab switching or no telemetry at all. The page states plainly that a signal is a reason to talk to the engineer, not proof of anything.

You can

  • Filter attempts by exam or search a member
  • See which signal fired and why, per attempt
  • Switch the whole workspace to aggregate-only reporting

Question analytics

Where your team loses points: the weakest topics ranked by fail rate, then every question with its fail rate, attempts, members and average answer time. Groups smaller than your minimum sample are withheld, so a fail rate never points at a single engineer.

You can

  • Find the topic to cover in the next team session
  • Sort questions by fail rate, attempts or time
  • Rely on minimum sample sizes that protect individuals

Training record

One engineer's training record as an assessor wants to see it: signed certificates anyone can verify without an account, every exam attempt with score, result and the exact content version assessed, simulator evidence with its hash and curriculum progress. It downloads as a branded PDF or CSV at any time.

You can

  • Hand an assessor a verifiable record per engineer
  • Prove which version of the content each exam assessed
  • Export the record as PDF or CSV in one click

Engineer evaluation

A readiness score per engineer computed from the exams they take for your team, broken down into recent performance, difficulty-adjusted mastery, topic coverage, trend, consistency and completion discipline. Below it: standing in the team, mastery per category, the score over time against the pass mark and rule-based suggestions on what to study next.

You can

  • See how ready an engineer is before an assessment
  • Find the categories that pull their score down
  • Export the evaluation as an image for a one-to-one

Billing and seats

Seats, billing cycle and renewal date at the top, the contract minimum and the seats in use underneath. Buy more seats against a purchase order and pay by invoice instead of by card, and reconcile who holds a seat and who may see billing.

You can

  • Request a quote and order against your own PO number
  • See seats in use against your contract at any time
  • Give billing access only to the people who need it

Organization settings

The workspace profile, the legal identity stamped on every exported document and invoice, and the date, time and timezone format used on every page, from deadlines to the audit trail. Further down: marketing email suppression, who may read the audit trail, your logo and brand colour.

You can

  • Set your locale once for every page and export
  • Suppress marketing email for the whole team
  • Put your logo and brand colour on the workspace

LMS and xAPI integration

Exams launch from inside your own LMS over LTI 1.3 (Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, D2L) and grades flow back to its gradebook, while xAPI statements stream to your learning record store. Delivery health shows what was delivered, what is pending and what failed.

You can

  • Register your LMS and launch exams from it
  • Stream xAPI statements to your own LRS
  • Watch grade passback and xAPI delivery at a glance

Analytics privacy and API keys

Privacy rules your works council can sign off: switch the workspace to aggregate-only reporting, set the minimum cohort below which averages are withheld and how far back behavioural data may be reported, all enforced on the server. Read-only API keys feed competence, transcripts, cohort reports and the roster to your HR system or LMS.

You can

  • Report in aggregate only, enforced on the server
  • Create scoped, expiring read-only API keys
  • Revoke a key and see when each key was last used

Audit trail

Every administrative action in the workspace, from a role change or a new API key to a safety case review decision: who did it, with which role, on what, and when, with the full details one click away. Filter by area, search it, and export it as CSV or JSON for your own records.

You can

  • Answer "who changed this, and when" in seconds
  • Export the trail as CSV or JSON for an audit
  • Let admins read it too, or keep it owner-only

My Learning

What each engineer sees on their own seat: the exams the team assigned them with their deadlines and best score so far, the reading assigned to them, the split between reading and video time, and the concepts they opened last. Nothing to configure; it is the same workspace, seen from the seat.

You can

  • Start or continue an assigned exam in one click
  • See every deadline and the best score so far
  • Pick up the assigned reading where it stopped

My Path

The learning path the team assigned the engineer, step by step: progress, the due date, the next step to take and the time left on the path. Steps tick off from the engineer's own activity, a concept completed or an exam passed, never from a self-reported checkbox.

You can

  • Follow the assigned path in the right order
  • See the next step and the time left at a glance
  • Trust a progress figure that comes from real activity

My Record

The engineer's own training record, the same one the manager sees: competence per ISO 26262 area against what their role requires, with the exams and certificates behind each level, assigned paths, certificates and exam history. It downloads as PDF or CSV at any time, so a record follows the person.

You can

  • See which area the role still needs evidence in
  • Check the exams and certificates behind each level
  • Download the whole record as PDF or CSV

For larger rollouts

What training leads, procurement and IT usually want to know before a company wide rollout. Pick a topic.

How a team subscription pays for itself

A course is consumed once; a competence program runs for years. Teams is the second: company owned seats, accumulating evidence, and demand the standard keeps alive.

Periodic training and capability evaluation is how this industry already works.

Automotive suppliers that work to the standard already train engineers and evaluate team capability on a cycle. The platform carries that cadence.

  1. AssignSeat given to an engineer
  2. AssessLearn, practice, pass exams
  3. ArchiveEvidence kept for audits
  4. ReassignSame seat, next engineer

One seat, many engineers: 15 seats can carry 40+ engineers through the programme in a year, on one consolidated invoice per year.

The standard makes it recurring

Part 2 of the standard expects documented competence management. Every result and action becomes competence evidence for assessors and OEMs, year after year. An obligation, not a one time course.

Seats are floating, not personal

The seat belongs to the company. Once an engineer has completed the programme, the admin hands it to the next hire. You train a pipeline, not a fixed list of names.

Training never actually ends

New hires, ramp ups, role changes, refreshers and standard updates keep demand steady. Treated as a program, safety competence is budgeted annually, like a tool license.

Used during projects, not just before them

Templates, work products and the FTA, FMEA, FMEDA and GSN safety case simulators are opened mid project, next to the real safety case. A daily reference, not just a classroom.

Five scoped roles, no platform admin required

Roles live on the membership, not the account. One person can be owner in one org, member in another; team roles never reach platform privileges.

External training happens once per person. This runs all year.

A seminar teaches a snapshot to a fixed list, then everyone goes home. Teams keeps teaching, keeps proving, keeps every seat working for the next engineer.

What the team still knows, month by month

One time 3 day seminar Teams plan

Illustrative, not measured data.

The traditional route

One time external seminar

3 days
of training, once per engineer
  • EUR 1,500 to 2,500 per engineer for a 3 day course, plus travel and days out of the project (market reference, quoted in euro)
  • Knowledge fades within months; nothing to go back to once it ends
  • A certificate PDF and nothing else: no ongoing evidence trail for assessors
  • Every new hire waits for the next seminar date, often months away
  • Fixed agenda: the same slides for the intern and the safety manager
The Teams plan

A platform your team lives in

365 days
of learning, practice and evidence, every year
  • $699.84 per seat per year on the Department band S 20, 11-30 seats ($58.32 per seat per month, net, VAT excluded), reassignable across engineers
  • Always available: every concept, template and exam can be revisited without limit, whenever a project demands it
  • Learning plus daily practice: simulators, templates and work products, all year
  • Exams, scores and the audit log accumulate into competence evidence per engineer
  • New hires onboard the day they join, on a seat you already own
  • Assignments target exactly what each role needs, when it is needed

Runs inside the LMS you already have

If your training already lives in a learning management system, the Academy plugs into it as an LTI 1.3 tool. An instructor picks an Academy exam from inside a course, the learner launches it without a second login, the score is posted back to your gradebook, and the activity trail streams to your own LRS over xAPI. Your organization owner configures all of it from the workspace; there is no ticket to raise with us.

What is wired

LTI 1.3 launch

OIDC third-party login and resource-link launch. The learner arrives already signed in, provisioned just in time against a seat in your organization.

Deep linking

The instructor browses your published exams from inside the course and drops one in as a graded activity. No copying links, no shared passwords.

Grades flow back

The final score is posted through Assignment and Grade Services against the line item your LMS created. A resend overwrites the same result rather than adding a second one.

xAPI to your LRS

Launched, answered, completed and retraction statements go to the LRS endpoint you nominate. Statement identifiers are derived, so a redelivery is recognised as the same statement instead of double-counting.

Nothing is dropped

Every grade and every statement is written to a durable delivery queue first, then retried with backoff and parked for inspection if the far end stays down. Owners get a per-organization delivery health readout.

Keys rotate, launches are single use

The tool publishes its own key set with an active and a retiring key, so signing keys roll over without breaking live launches. Each launch is accepted exactly once, so a captured launch cannot be replayed.

How it is set up

  1. Register, yourself

Your organization owner opens workspace settings, reads off the login, launch and key set URLs to hand to your LMS administrator, and enters the issuer, client id, deployment id and the three platform URLs coming back. Every registration and every change is written to your audit log.

  2. Place the exam

Your instructor adds the tool to a course and deep-links the exam. Only exams your organization is entitled to appear in the picker, and only from your own tenant.

  3. Point it at your LRS

Enter the LRS endpoint and its authorization header, then press test connection. The header is encrypted before it is stored and is never readable back out, not even by you.

Training built on your processes

The catalog covers the standard; your product and process are yours. On top we author custom video modules: your lifecycle, tools and domain, each lesson with slides, delivered only into your workspace.

Engineers who work alongside your team

The platform builds competence; sometimes a project needs hands on the safety work itself. Our functional safety engineers join your team for the parts that carry a deadline: the assessment, the analysis, the metrics, the safety case.

What we help with

Gap assessment

We benchmark your process against the standard and prepare you for the assessor's questions before they are asked.

Analysis facilitation

We run or co-run your HARA, FMEA, FTA and DFA workshops, from item definition through to agreed results.

Hardware metrics

We compute and review your SPFM, LFM and PMHF, and sanity-check the FMEDA behind the numbers.

Safety case and FSA

We build or review your safety case and prepare the argument for the Functional Safety Assessment.

Architecture and ASIL

We work through ASIL decomposition, freedom from interference and safe-architecture trade-offs with your team.

Certification prep

We prepare your engineers for TÜV (FSEP/FSCE) and SGS functional-safety certification exams.

  1. Scope and quote

We map the work with your safety manager, agree the scope and deliverables, and give you a fixed quote up front. You approve before anything starts.

  2. Work alongside you

Remote or on-site, our engineers work inside your V-model, toolchain and ASIL targets, next to your team, not from a distance.

  3. Hand over

You receive the finished deliverables, a walkthrough with the people who will maintain them, and a clear list of what remains.

How it is priced
  • Engagements are not sold self-serve. There is no rate card and no checkout button for consultancy: every engagement is scoped with your safety manager and fixed-quoted up front, and you approve the quote before we start. Ask through the demo form below or by email and we come back with a scope and a price.
  • Expert desk hours are a separate, optional pool. Your organization can hold a monthly allowance of expert hours, which we draw against when a question your own seniors cannot close is escalated to us. Your admins see the remaining balance in the workspace. Unused hours do not roll over; the allowance resets each month. Hours are agreed per organization when we set your terms up, so ask for a figure alongside your seat quote.
  • Mentor pairing is included with your seats at no extra cost. Pairing a junior engineer with one of your own seniors is a workspace feature your admins configure themselves, not a service we sell. The mentor sees exactly one mentee's competence record and nothing else.
  • You own what we create for you. Assessment reports, tailored templates and analyses produced for your project are yours to keep, reuse and adapt.
  • The Academy platform and its standard catalog stay licensed to your organization under your seats: used, not sold.
  • Remote or on-site, aligned to your V-model, toolchain and ASIL targets, and delivered by functional safety practitioners.

Net, VAT excluded. Most teams start with a gap assessment, then scope facilitation, metrics or safety-case work from there. If you want expert desk hours attached to your contract, say so in the message field below and we will price them with your seats.

Need help on one piece of work?

Send a work product, an FMEDA, FTA or DFA, or a technical safety concept to derive from. Functional safety engineers check it or help you do it. Consulting starts from $290, with a written quote before any charge.

Questions companies ask us

Short answers. The demo workspace shows the rest.

The assessor asks for competence evidence. What do we show?

You open the competence matrix and export it, instead of assembling binders. Teams keeps a per-member training record with certificates, team and question-level analytics, and integrity signals on every exam attempt, so evidence is exported rather than reconstructed.

Certifications lapse and nobody has time to chase people. How does Teams handle that?

You assign an exam once with a due date; automated reminders and recurring yearly refreshers run themselves, on top of role-based curricula and tracked assigned coursework.

How fast is a new safety engineer actually productive?

A plan exists before the laptop arrives: a day-one placement exam that skips what they already know, an onboarding plan, mentor pairing, an auto-drafted probation report, and an internal expert desk that routes questions to your seniors.

Where does the project's safety case actually stand?

The Safety Case Tracker is the artefact you show: a 73-entry ISO 26262 catalog built by drag and drop, live links to work products, completeness rollups, audit-logged access grants for external assessors, and pinned versions with change digests.

Will IT, security and procurement sign this off?

It is governed entirely from a browser: five scoped roles, expiring email-bound invitations with CSV import, one prorated annual invoice, an append-only tamper-resistant audit log, and fail-closed tenant isolation applied at the query layer on every read.

We already have an LMS, an LRS and a brand. Does it fit our stack?

It plugs in: LTI 1.3 so grades flow back to your LMS, xAPI export to your LRS, scoped organization API keys, an org exam builder with CSV question import, and branded templates and workshop packs that carry your logo.

How much does a Teams seat cost?

Every seat carries the full Expert plan, priced per seat on an annual contract with volume discounts that deepen as the team grows. The current rates in your currency are in the price table.

Do you offer expert consultancy as well as the platform?

Yes. Our functional safety engineers work alongside your team on gap assessments, HARA/FMEA/FTA/DFA facilitation, hardware metrics (SPFM, LFM, PMHF), safety case and FSA preparation, ASIL decomposition, and TUV/SGS certification preparation. Engagements are scoped and fixed-quoted up front, and the deliverables we create for you are yours to keep. For one document or analysis, consulting starts from $290.
